Butterfly is pleased to showcase creations by select local jewelry artists. The following artists are currently represented in the shop.
Manic Gems
Ernie Manack hand-cuts stones in fancy and unusual designs. His distinctive, large gems are shown in a variety of colors and styles. He also specializes in pierced metal work, and in creating amulets and talismans. He is based outside of Charlotte.
Radiant Minerals
Yelena Efremova creates fluid, unique designs in sterling silver, gold, and natural minerals from around the world. She is based in Greensboro and exhibits in numerous shows around the East Coast.
SkyeTurtle Designs
Penelope Bakatsias uses Mother Nature’s treasures to create designs inspired by earth, sea, and sky. The organic and unusual are melded to produce beautiful harmonies. SkyeTurtle Designs is located in Charlotte and exhibits in a number of local shows.
DBE
Debra Eicher creates multi-dimensional dichroic glass jewelry. Glass is fused in multiple layers, then cut and assembled in striking designs. Her jewelry is unique and dramatic. Debra is local to Charlotte.
