Magickal Stones

In a magickal stone, all angles reduce to the same number. This could be your personal number, your path of destiny, etc. For example, if your birth number is 9, a “9” stone would be an extremely powerful talisman, especially if it’s in the color you like or that is associated with your astrological or other signs. Quartz is used most often because it is a superior conductor of electricity and other energies. We all know that the power of the magickal tool resides in the operator of that tool; that being said, a magickal tool that resonates well with the operator can move mountains (metaphorically speaking, of course). Fancy Cut Stones

Fancy gems have 50 or more facets, cut on 10 mm stones and above. Special cut stones depend on the availability of gemstone material, which can vary. These stones are usually very sparkly due to the large number of facets and their reflecting and refracting powers. Dispersion is intense. For example, a Fairy Wand cut contains 145 facets and throws light dramatically through central and perimeter starburst formations. Simple Cut Stones are 49 facets and fewer. They tend to have more intense flash, and less sparkle because of the larger facets, and can be very dramatic. They are also more moderately priced since less time is required to cut them.

Note that these are much larger sizes than the typical gemstones generally available from jewelers. As an illustration of size, a penny is 19 mm across.
